We’re Kevan and Bobby—two retired guys who love home cooking and getting our hands dirty in the garden, living out in the country in South Carolina. Bobby holds a degree in horticulture, and together, we’ve filled our yard with blooming flowers, winding shrubs, homegrown veggies, and more than a few trees that now have names.

When we’re not in the kitchen throwing together colorful, feel-good meals, Bobby is usually outside pulling weeds, and Kevan is planning the next raised bed, or wondering why the cucumber plant has taken over half the yard. We enjoy the simple rhythm of cooking from the garden, soaking up sunshine, and sharing our love of wholesome living with others.

Our passion for gardening and cooking has naturally grown into writing and blogging—sharing stories, recipes, and a slice of our country life with anyone who wants to read along. Our cookbooks are just the beginning.
